Eugene Lednicky

Eugene Edward Lednicky, 75, Palmyra, died Monday, August 2, 2010, at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Chapel with Father Ed Steiner officiating. Burial will be in Nesbitt Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. A Rosary will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. He was born March 1, 1935 in Forth Worth, TX and was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Hattie Urbanovsky Lednicky; daughter, Christa Elizabeth Lednicky Crispino; and his sister, Barbara Beavers. Mr. Lednicky retired as a Major from the U.S. Army and also retired from Boeing Aerospace Company. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; an avid golfer who was a sixteen year board member of the Clarksville Junior Golf Tour. He is survived by his wife, Anita Nolen Lednicky, Palmyra; daughter, Rachel Kathryn Lednicky, Palmyra; sisters, Virginia Lednicky Webb, Georgetown, TX, and Dolores Lednicky Vrana, Ennis, TX.
