Esther Lois Smith McCormack, age 84, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 at her home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Revs. Chris Camp and David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 12 noon until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Esther entered this life on February 14, 1928 in Montgomery Co., daughter to James Reynolds Smith and Johnnie M. Shrader Smith. Esther retired from Acme Boot Company following 47 years of service and attended the Olivet Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Everit Earl Smith, Izorah Hayes Smith Bowers, and Garner Ray Smith.
She is survived by her loving family which includes her husband of 65 years, Dolphus Junior McCormack, daughter Jennifer Lois McCormack Harrison and her late husband Charles Douglas Harrison, grandchildren, Jeremy Douglas Harrison and wife Amy and Kevin Reynolds Harrison and wife Sarabeth, great grandchildren, Sophie Manuela Harrison, Jasper Douglas Harrison, Mason McCormack Harrison, and Elijah Allen Harrison, brother, Norman Ross Smith, and sisters, Bessie Louise Smith Bowers and Violet Cecila Smith Bowles.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy D. Harrison, Kevin R. Harrison, Freddie Bowles, Harold Bowers, John Herndon, and Jason McCormack.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are preferred to the Olivet Free Will Baptist Church, 3363 Rossview Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.
