Esther Randolph Ammons Esther Randolph Ammons, 95, Clarksville, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday and from 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. A Rosary will be held 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. She was the born December 2, 1912 in Jackson, TN daughter of the John Randolph and Esther Magda Randolph. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Col. Ben Ammons, her son, Randolph Ammons, and eight brothers and sisters. Esther was a member of the Red Cross and volunteered in military hospitals. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Survivors include her sons, Christopher Ammons, Clarksville, Timothy Ammons and wife, Carol, Atlanta, GA; sisters, Mary Milion, Spain, Pat Randolph, Jackson, TN; brother, Tom Randolph, Arkansas; niece, Mary Duke Guldon, Jackson, TN.
