Ernestine “Tena” Joyce Speers, age 75 of Erin, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
A celebration of her life will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Mathis officiating. Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery.
The Speers family will receive friends on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at noon.
Tena entered this life on September 29, 1943 in Leatherwood, TN, daughter to the late Clifford and Sudie Ross. Tena was faithful member of Church of Faith of Grace, and was a lifelong resident of Houston County, TN.
In addition to her parents, Tena was preceded in death by her siblings, Pete Ross, Andy Allen Ross, Genneva Ann Rhome, and Margie Sue Vann.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Speers; daughter, Kim Mathis; brother, David Ross (Cindy); brother-in-laws, Billy Vann, Clayton Rhome, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Gunson, Robert Trent, Kevin Trent, Andy Ross, Kurt Lusso, and John March Jr.
