The funeral will be held at 2pm Friday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.David Steppee and Bro.Richard Neal officiating. Burial will be in Center Point Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30am till service Friday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born September 30,1939 in Houston County,Tn. son of the late Ernest and Ruby and Catherine Self. Survivors include his companion Margaret Hooker of Detroit,Mich.two sons Marty Self of Jackson,Mich.Mikey Hooker of Detroit,Mich.one daughter Hidie Self of Mich.two brothers Jessie Self of Erin,Tn.Earl Self of Wayne,WV.four sisters Joyce Mosley of Ecorce,Mich.wanda Watson of Brownstown,Mich,Hazel Frazier of Livonia,Mich.Brenda MacKinnon of Erin,Tn. Pallbearers will be Bill Wolfe, Jessie Massey, Gary Self, Danny Mathis,Michael Hooker, Doug Ligan.
