Ernest Nolen Jackson

Ernest Nolen Jackson passed away yesterday, September 26, 2024, quietly and peacefully in his home.

 A lifelong resident, Ernest was born September 6, 1960, in Montgomery County, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Steward Jackson, and Virginia Hope Crockett, both originally from Palmyra, Tennessee. Ernest leaves his one and only sibling, Jinny Jackson Smith, the widow of Norman Ross Smith, his brother-in-law.

 Ernest has been blessed to have had caregivers at his home who loved and made him safe in his final journey; Trish Stone, Rita Bradley, Lynn Harris, Lisa Long, and Brenda Tudor. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2

 Known affectionately as Ernie by most, he was a gentle giant of a man, who worked on vehicles and motorcycles throughout his life. He loved shooting pool, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, and spending time with his many friends.

 Services are being provided by McReynolds-Nave & Larson in Clarksville, Tennessee, Monday, September 30, 2024, with visitation from ten to noon, Directly after visitation, the eulogy will be delivered in the chapel by Gus Allen Crockett, with music provided by Vickie Denton. Pallbearers are Steve Appleton, Bo Botts, Craig Clack, Bruce Davidson, Jan Hinton, Michael Huff, Mike McKenzie, and Wayne Potter.

 Ernest will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery next to his loving and doting parents in Greenwood Cemetery who were anxiously awaiting him at Heaven's door. "Go Rest High On That Mountain"
