Ermanie Yarbrough, age 88, of Clarksville, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Spring Meadows Health Care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the First Canaan Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Erma entered into this life on April 4, 1925 in Dickson County, Tennessee, daughter of Thomas and Lillie Jarman Lewis. She was a loving and devoted mother and was well known for Granny's Pillows of Love, handcrafted pillows that she gave out as expressions of love to family and friends. Erma was retired from Acme Boot Company and was a member of the First Canaan Baptist Church.
Erma was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Yarbrough and grandson, Kenny Yarbrough. Survivors include her loving children, Donald Wayne Yarbrough and wife Debbie of Sango, Aileen Latta and husband Charles of Clarksville, and Peggy Lynn Thomas of Clarksville. She was the proud grandmother of eight, great-grandmother of eleven, and great-great-grandmother of one.
