Erma Carson

Erma Carson 98 years old passed away Thursday January 25, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Erma was born October 29, 1919 in Stewart, TN. Daughter of the late John Lenard Harris and Bessie Carmel McNichols Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Bessie Harris, husband Glenn Carson, and son Eddie Carson. Mrs. Carson was a loyal member of Springhill United Methodist Church and Eastern Star Hope Chapter 362, She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening.
A celebration of her life will be 1pm Sunday at Springhill Methodist Church with Bro. Joel Nulty and Rev. Jacqueline Pitt Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8pm Saturday at Nave Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held from 10am until 1pm at Springhill United Methodist Church on Sunday January 28. Burial will follow at Carson-Cary Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons Roy Carson, Zane Carson, three daughters Glenda Halliburton, Kathy Pulley, Sharon Dortch, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Nave Funeral Home in Charge of Arrangements.
