Emily Joyce Triplett

Emily Joyce “Moma Jo” Triplett age 90 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at NHC of Dickson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev. Denise Settle, Rev. Beverly Dycus and Rev. Joel Nulty officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday afternoon.
Moma Jo entered this life on April 8, 1932 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the Clayton Arthur and Hilda Addie Triplett. Moma Jo was an expert seamstress and was committed to her community. She served on the board of Bethesda mission where she volunteered monthly, was a member of the historical society and a member of Friends of the Library. She truly put service above self. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Moma Jo was preceded in death by her siblings, Thelma Patrick, Gordan Triplett, and Bonnie Mathis.
Survivors include her loving children, Ann (Johnny) Dew, Larry (Jeanette) Dennis, Sharon “Bo” Hebda; sister, Vergie Bevins; grandchildren, Sandy (Charles) Harvey, Stevie Wyatt, Scottie Dew, and Maurice Dennis. Moma Jo also leaves behind five great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stevie Wyatt, Chad Harvey, Charles Harvey, Scottie Dew, Wes Mitchum, and Randy Wyatt.
