Elsie Rose

Elsie Rose, 96, Clarksville, died Saturday, October 25, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Excell Baptist Church with Rev. Terrell Marcom officiating. The remains are to be cremated. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born September 9, 1912 in Lynchburg, Virginia, daughter of Charles Edlow and Myra Portch Morris. Mrs. Rose was a member of Excell Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons Thomas and Robert Coates, both of Clarksville, sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and six great great-grandchildren.
