Elsie Putnam

 Elsie Mae Putnam, age 73, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4- 7 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Elsie entered this life on March 11, 1951, to the late John and Mary Hogue Riggins. She was born as a triplet; however, she was the only surviving child at birth. Elsie spent her working years as a skilled typist for Jostens. In her downtime, Elsie loved listening to Elvis and Conway Twitty.

In addition to her parents, and infant siblings, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Putnam; brothers,Doug Riggins, J.D. Riggins,  O.B. Riggins, and John “Bubba” Riggins; sisters, Rosa Mosier, and Joyce Collins.

Survivors include her son, Winston (Christina) Mickle; grandchildren, Dusti Lei Wyatt, Nicholas Jackson, and Scarlet Jackson; great-granddaughter, Lyla Wyatt, and sisters, Shirley Copeland, Diana Jones, and Mary Esther Knight.
