Elsie Perry

Elsie Beatrice Perry, 90, Woodlawn, died Friday, September 9, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Blooming Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Perry was born June 26, 1921 in Montgomery County, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, Simon Carl and Evie Thomas Sleigh; husband, John Perry; brothers, Bruce Sleigh, Gary Sleigh, Howard Sleigh; sisters, Frances Sleigh and Virginia Larson.
She was a seamstress and a member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Bill White, Clarksville, David (Anita) White, Aurora, CO; brother, Maurice Sleigh, Clarksville; sister, Joyce Lindsey, Smyrna.
