Elmer Tanner

Elmer (Bubby) Tanner passed away Sunday October 26, 2014 at Signature Health Care. He was born April 9, 1933 in Houston County, Tn. son of the late Romie Tanner and Sarah Bass Tanner. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Rosa Ferrell Tanner. He was a member of Church of God in Slayton, Tn. A celebration of his life will be 11am Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Hughes officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Monday and from 8am until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at McDonald Cemetery. Survivors include one son Michael Tanner, four brothers Thomas Tanner, Romie Tanner, Anthony Tanner, Jimmy Tanner, and three granddaughters. Pallbearers will be Leon Ferrell, Harrold Ferrell, Bill Bass, Tracy Tanner, Tony Tanner and Thomas Tanner.
