Ellis Greenup

Ellis Greenup, age 78, of Southside, TN passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at his residence.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Tay Joslin officiating. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 and again from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ellis entered into this life on August 18, 1944, in Stewart County, TN to the late Carmon and Nell Crutcher Greenup. He owned and operated Greenup Painting from which he retired from.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Elaine Browning Greenup; son, Robbie Darrin Greenup; grandson, Dustin Darrin Greenup; brothers, Curwood Greenup and Delmas Greenup; sister, Nadine Williams.

Survivors include his daughter, Melody (Allen) Hutchison; grandchildren, Waylon (Blakely) Greenup, Kelsie (Dustin) Reddick; great grandchildren, Braedyn Greenup, Hadyn Greenup, Autumn Greenup, Alania Faucett, Tyler Reddick, Hunter Reddick; the love of his life, Bonnie Honey; daughter-in-law, Nina (Bobby) Fain; stepdaughter, Bridget (Dean) Evans; brother, Larry (Linda) Greenup; sisters, Nell Harris, Carolyn Green, Brenda Price, and Kathy (Winston) Devers.

Pallbearers will be Steve Williams, Barry Williams, Allen Hutchison, Bobby Fain, Todd Devers, Dean Evans, Waylon Greenup, Tay Joslin.
