Elizabeth Skipton

Elizabeth Archer Skipton, 60, Clarksville, died Sunday, September 20, 2009, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. She was born December 29, 1948 in Allentown, PA and was the daughter of the late Geoffrey R. and Joan J. Vallereo Parkerson. Mrs. Skipton was a homemaker and lead the Bible study group at Clarksville YMCA. She was Episcopalion. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Skipton, Clarksville; sons, Geoffrey P. (Amberley) Skipton, Mt. Pleasant, SC, Charles (Melissa) Skipton, Tampa, FL; brother, George C. Parkerson, Omaha, NE; sisters, Beverly A. Snodgrass, AZ, Claudia J. Vallentine, CA, Leslie A. Coyle; grandchildren, Molley Skipton, Isebella Skipton, Merlin Davis; great-grandson, Bryson Davis.
