Elizabeth Frances O'Reilly Lowney (Betty) 92, of Clarksville, TN passed away on April 1, 2015.
For many years, she volunteered with the Catholic Church and on staff with the Chamber of Commerce. She was born on December 10, 1922 to the late Elizabeth Ward and William O'Reilly; She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Lowney & daughter Margaret Lowney Day; brother Ward; sisters Eileen, Patricia, Gerry, Mary Jean & Joan. Survived by her children James Lowney (Mary Kathleen) of Columbus, IN; John Lowney (Beth) of Frisco,TX; Mary Moseley (Thomas) of Adams,TN; Son-in-Law Pete Day of Clarksville; Grandchildren Ashley Lowney Wojcik (Dennis); Matthew Lowney (Ashley); Lauren Lowney Hanson (Barry); Jonathan Moseley (Cathy); Daniel Moseley; Peter & Mark Day; Great grandchildren Dylan & Caden Wojcik, Sophia Lowney, Gavin & Levi Moseley, brothers Jack & Bill and their families, including nieces, nephews, and their children.
Mrs. Lowney's family wishes to thank the staff of Spring Meadow, Fieldstone Place & Gateway Hospice who have provided loving and compassionate care for her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25 at the Immaculate Conception Church at 11:00 with funeral services following at noon. A private burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Children's Hospital at 2222 Wellborn St Dallas,TX. 75219 and/or to Immaculate Conception Church 709 Franklin St Clarksville, TN 37040.
