Elizabeth Jones - 1918 Elizabeth Shelton Jones, 91, Formaly of Erin, died Friday, November 6,2009, at Saginaw,Mich.. The funeral will be held at 11am Saturday at Erin United Methodist Church with Rev.Ken Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am till service Saturday at the church. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Elizabeth Dickens was born August 2,1918 in Nashville,Tn.to the late Lizzie Waide (Shelton) and William A.Dickens.She was married to Will T.Jones on August 14,1937 in Franklin,Ky.He preceded her in death. Elizabeth and Tom enjoyed their many years in Erin,spending many fond memories of her Sunday school class at Erin United Methodist Church and the Golden Age Club. Elizabeth is survived by one daughter:Barb(John)Kosanovich;one son William(Madeline)Jones;one daughter-in-law;Linda Jones;Many grandchildren,great grandchildren and two nieces.She was preceded in death by one son:James Thomas Jones;one sister:mary(Dickens)Fields;and one brother:James Womack Dickens.
