Elizabeth Bryant

Elizabeth G. Bryant, 88, formerly of Cunningham, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at Manor House of Dover. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. John Black officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born April 3, 1921 in Slayden, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall G. Groves and Alvie Elizabeth Groves; and her husband, Russell O. Bryant. Mrs. Bryant was a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Randel Bryant, Cunningham; daughter, Peggy Colson, Dover; sister Gladys Bryant of Clarksville; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ralph Baggett, Mike Chitwood, Wayne McWhorter, Mike Groves, Wendell Bryant, Gerald Harris, and Scotty Chitwood.
