Edward Ledbetter

Edward Jackson Ledbetter, age 85, of Clarksville, went to be with the lord on January 15, 2022.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Ed entered into this life on January 29, 1936, in Jamestown, TN to the late Balem Caster and Hazel (Hooten) Ledbetter. He served in the military and retired from Trane Company. Ed attended Fellowship United Methodist Church. In his free time, Ed loved watching sports, going fishing, collecting antique toys, and driving his 1963 Ford truck. He also enjoyed having coffee with friends and above all spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Bonnie Booher and Jerry Ledbetter.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years, Nancy Johnson Ledbetter; daughters, Carrie (Wade) Rudolph, Melissa (Carl) Wharton, Kimberly (Greg) Loreille, ReJeanna Brumleve, (Judy) Renee Cattanach; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, siblings, Roger Ledbetter, Jo (Russ) Harrell, Polli (Jimmy) Craft, Dale (Dianna) Ledbetter.
