Edna Earl Sanders, 91, Springfield, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at Golden Living Nursing Home. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Paul Bunger officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. She was born March 10, 1918 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Lee and Elmo Norris Lisenbee; husband, Ernest Wesley Sanders; brothers, J.C., William, Oscar, Julian, Howard Hubert, Gene; sisters, Gertrude, Alma May and Ernestine. Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker, a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church, and a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union #86. She is survived by her son, Wayne Lisenbee, Atlanta, GA; sister, Winnie Aquire, Nashville; one grandchild. Family will serve as pallbearers.
