Edna Anderson

Edna Gerlene Hayes Anderson, age 92, of Smyrna, TN passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Clinard Memory Resthaven.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Edna entered into this life on August 17, 1926 in Smithfield, TN daughter of the late Ernest and Nancy Adamson Clinard. She was an awesome Christian lady who will be dearly missed. Edna had a great love for her God and family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderson; three children, Gary Hayes, Joyce Demonbreun, Judy Hayes, and brother, John E. Clinard.
Survivors include her children, Gloria (Danny) Hollis, Diane Hayes, and David (Rebecca) Hayes, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny E. Hollis, Jr., Sam Swafford, Jr., Shaun D. Betty, Lane Claud, Jay Claud, Charlie Nichols, Robert Nichols, Scotty Hayes, James Claud and Jeremy Claud.
