Edith Azalee Walker Greenhill Thomas, 95 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Walking Horse Meadows.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Faye Sanders officiating.
Burial will be at McKinney Cemetery in Trigg Co., Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday.
Edith was born on November 29, 1919 in Bumpus Mills, TN, the daughter of the late Garland E. Walker and Willie Marguess Walker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Deloy Greenhill and Edward Thomas; son, Dean Greenhill; daughter, Nelma Coggins.
Edith was a member of Bumpus Mills Missionary Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Ruth Mathis (Neal); son-in-law, Ray Coggins; daughter-in-law, Faye Greenhill; brother, Grover “Bill” Walker; grandchildren, Pam Knolton (Sam), Kelly Williams (Kip); Melanie Mathis (Jim Lukens), Greg Greenhill and Cory Mathis (Nicole); 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cory Mathis, Greg Greenhill, Jim Lukens, Sam Knolton, Scott Knolton, and Kip Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Robin Hamilton, Jessica Segovia, Willie Mae Baker, Faye Sauders, Marchella Sanchez, and the staff of Walking Horse Meadows.
The family would like to thank the staff at Walking Horse Meadows.
