Edith Black - 1925 Edith Mae Black, 83, Charlotte, died Saturday, July 11,2009, at Centennial Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 3pm Wednesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.Richard Neal officiating. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30am till 8pm Tuesday and from 8am till service Wednesday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born September 8,1925 in Palmyra,Tn. daughter of the late Wesley and Laura Reynolds Schmittou. Survivors include two sons James Ray Claxton of McComb,Ill.Herman Michael Black of Ashland City,Tn.three daughters Lawanda Schlag of Pond Eddy,NY,Shirley Claxton of Cumberland City,Tn.Lynda Honeycutt of Charlotte,Tn. one sister Madeline Hodges of Erin,Tn. Pallbearers will be Vernon Lyons, Brett Lyons, Daniel Lyons, Robbie Claxton, John McQuiston, Jerry Honeycutt.
