Edith Batten

Edith Earlene Batten passed away Saturday November 3, 2012 at Centennial Medical Center. She was born June 9, 1933 in Cookville, Tn. daughter of the late George Riley and Maggie Rippetoe Riley. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Aniata (Kathy) Lynch. A celebration of her life will be 1pm Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Thaxton and Bro. David Hardin officiating. Burial will be at Hill Orchard Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:30pm until 8pm Monday and from 8am until service at 1pm Tuesday at the funeral home. She was a member of Erin Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband Harry Batten, two sons James Gammons, Larry Gammons, one daughter Marie Nolan, three step sons Marcus Batten, Michael Batten, Steven Batten, and 13 grandchildren.
