Edgar Tarann Wimberly, a son, father, grandson, brother, and friends has departed from this Earth to another land on Sunday morning, September 26, 2021.
He was born on August 5, 1985, in Hopkinsville, KY, to the late Edgar Ellis Green and Felecia Gail Wimberly. He inherited a wonderful stepfather Michael Catlett who raise him and three of his siblings.
He received his formal school education in Clarksville Montgomery County School System. During his life, he worked as a painter, and created his own business “Better Than New Painting”. Edgar had many gifts and abilities. During his time here on Earth he was very creative with his hands. He loved making music and working on cars. He was a good mechanic. He enjoyed cooking and had a love for dogs. Edgar was a wonderful dad who loved spending time with his children.
Edgar accepted Christ, at an early age at Solid Rock Apostolic Church in Clarksville, TN under the leadership of the late Pastor Harold Hall where his love for others was evident in his relationships with his family and friends. He also attended Greater Love AOH Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Overseer James Earl Palmer Jr. Clarksville, TN.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving mother, Felecia Wimberly Hagewood; a devoted dad, Michael Catlett; five children, Jaiden Boykins, DeShawn Hunter, Micah Wimberly, Jeremiah Wimberly, and Taliyah Martinez; three brothers, DeAundre Catlett (Doneesha), Josiah Catlett, Antwann Killebrew; two sisters, Jaleesa Catlett (Phil), Tierra Catlett, and his devoted friend, Amy Martinez.
He also leaves his grandparents, Marion and Lillian Wimberly; four uncles, Albert Dale Green (Connie), Summerset, KY, Alfred Green (Wilma), Fairville, OH, David Green, Hopkinsville, KY, Randy Wimberly, Hopkinsville, KY; eight aunties, Betty (Robert) Williamson, Clarksville, TN, Patsy (Fletcher) Williams, Laden, SC, Lolita Wimberly, Hopkinsville, KY, Sharon (Howard) Webb, Tallahassee, FL, Elnora (Curtis) Davis, Oak Grove, Donzella (Robert) Green, Austell, GA, Everlene Moore, Hopkinsville, KY, Arnita Green, Dickson, TN. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
