Edgar Earl Miller, age 79, died on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The Miller family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Edgar entered this life on June 21, 1935 in Allentown, Pennsylvania into a large family which included 11 children. He was the son of the late Howard and Viola Weinstein Miller. As a young man, Edgar served three years with the United States Marine Corps and then went on to serve twenty years with the United States Army. Edgar dutifully served his country in Vietnam. Following his military career, he worked for Trane Company in Clarksville and retired from there after twenty years of service.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 50 years, Marianne Miller, and his children, Bruce Miller of Clarksville and Simone Crowe (husband, Wade), of North Carolina.
