Edgar Mitchell Groves Jr., 85, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Living Hope Fellowship, 1085 Jackson Felts Road, Joelton, TN with Pastor Scott Rush officiating. Visitation will be 12 noon until the hour Saturday at the church
Mr. Groves was born May 3, 1930 in Clarksville, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Mitchell and Ester Sinks Groves; wife, Helen Lorene Gibbs Groves and his sister, Margaret Hildebrand.
Survivors include his son, Jerry Groves, Clarksville; daughters, Vicki (Eric) Choate, Rhonda (David) Johnson, Tammy (Earl) Byard; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
