Edeltraud Vera Martin, age 74, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Kay Perkins Sweat officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Her remains are to be cremated.
Edeltraud entered this life on September 26, 1938 in Germany. She was a loving mother and supportive Army wife who stood behind her husband, SFC (Ret) Robert T. Martin, for many years as they pledged their duty to country.
Edeltraud has been reunited with her husband who preceded her in death just over three years ago. Left behind to cherish their memory are sons, Michael Terence Martin, Sr. of Clarksville and Thomas Robert Martin of Winter Park, FL; daughter, Sonja Elsie Tilley of Crofton, KY; grandchildren, Michael and Stephen Wall of Portland, OR, Michael, Christopher, and Brittany Martin of Shreveport, LA, Chantel and Jeremy Martin of Clarksville, McCoy Robert and Mykayla Rose Marie Martin of Fenton, MI, Michael Martin, Jr. and Esmeralda Mahogany Martin of San Antonio, TX, Rylee Nikole and Kaylee Camille Martin of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and great granddaughters Kamryn Lee Trotta of New Smyrna Beach and Kloe Addalee Trotta of Daytona Beach, FL.
