Edelmira Gonzalez Vargas

Edelmira Gonzalez Vargas, age 81, passed away at her home in Clarksville on Friday, September 27, 2024.

Edelmira entered this life on August 5, 1943 in Lares, Puerto Rico, daughter to the late Confesor Gonzalez and Maria Vargas. She was of the Catholic faith and loved her family very much. Edelmira loved to pray and profess her love for the Lord and enjoyed sewing and cooking in her free time.

Survivors include her children, Jose A. Rivera Gonzalez, Armando Rivera Gonzalez, and Nydia Rivera Gonzalez; grandchildren, Armando Rivera Jr., Gloriselly Rivera, Steven J. Rivera, Kate Rivera Ortiz, Jose Noel Rivera, Randy R. Santana Rivera, and Brian Santana Rivera; and great grandchildren, Jhoniel Alfredo Rivera Ayala, Cristal Berrios, Alanis Rivera, Yassper Rivera, Amellys Rivera, Aaden Rivera, and Adellise Rivera.

No public services are currently planned. Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
