Eddie Bumpus

Eddie Dean Bumpus, 66, of Ashland City, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 23rd.
He is preceded in death by his parents, O'Grady and Mrya Bumpus.
He is survived by his sister, Brenda Brewer; brother, Stanley Bumpus; wife of 45 years Betsy Bumpus; son, Jassan (married to Misty) and their kids, Jake, Josie, Jorden, and Jesse; son Ben (married to Joy) and their son Henry; son, Josh (married to Laurabeth) and their kids Sarah, Suzie, John, and Catie.
Funeral Services will be private. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 11 from 5-7 at the farm.
Eddie was a self-made man who carried on a family business into the second and third generations, leaving it thriving. He started out with very little and left behind a paradise for his wife, kids, and grand kids. He taught his family how to treat people right and build a meaningful life, and he taught his sons how to treat a lady. His success, both family and business-wise, is due to his diligence and integrity. He lived a life worth living and will be missed by many.
