Earlene Mackens Ferrell, age 77, of Cunningham, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Montgomery Care and Rehab Center.
A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel, with the Revs. David Mackens and Terry Bear officiating. Burial will be in Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ferrell was born February 17, 1934 in Montgomery County, and was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Birdie Martin Mackens; husband, Clyde Ferrell; and grandson, James David Mackens, Jr.
She was a homemaker and a member of Baggetts Chapel Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her son, Jerry (Carolyn) Ferrell, Clarksville; daughters, Sue (Ricky) Castleberry, Cunningham, Donna (David) Mackens, Clarksville; grandchildren, Justin (Theresa) Ferrell, Brittany (Shannon) Svoboda, Bethany (Joel) Erb, Jordan Ferrell, Amy Mackens; great-grandchildren, Riley Jo Svobada and Peyton Ferrell.
