Earl Saunders

Earl Julius Saunders, age 89 of Palmyra, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, and from 12 Noon until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
He was born April 8, 1926 in Eureka, KS and was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Hollis Saunders.
Mr. Saunders was a retired U.S. Army WWII Veteran, serving 22 years in the Navy and Army. He was a member of Tarsus Community Church and Palmyra Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Kyle) Fritz; son, David (Debbie) Saunders; brothers, John Saunders, Leonard Saunders; sister, Alma Saunders; grandchildren, Justin Yarbrough, Kylee Fritz, Dylan Saunders and Cheyenne Saunders.
