Earl Cragon Baggett, age 95 of Palmyra, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Koontz and Mr. E.B. Russell officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Saturday.
Earl was born on October 16, 1920 in Montgomery County, the son of the late Dossie Baggett and Lular Rye Baggett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Baggett. He was a Clarksville High School Graduate and a WWII Veteran.
He is survived by his foster daughter, Jennie Sue Porter; foster son, Barry (Christine) Clark; foster grandchildren, Golden and Summer Porter; great-grandchildren, Landon and Lila Belle Porter; niece, Debra Melton, Nadine Gafford, Jean Hayes, Judy Blackwell, and Diana Hiner; nephews, Jessie Johnson, Blaine Baggett, Earl Russell, and Donald Ray Baggett.
Pallbearers will be Barry Clark, Woodrow Shelton Jr., Michael Shelton, Earl Elrod, Billy Shelton, and Jimmy Simon.
