Dwight Lee Carter, age 55 of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Dwight entered this life on November 16, 1965, in Lincoln County, TN. He helped anyone and everyone in need. Dwight was the most amazing, funniest, sweetest, smartest, brutally honest, strictest, nicest, meanest, shortest, tallest asshole you could ever meet. His greatest passion in life, aside from family and friends was his motorcycle. He was a member of both B.W.C and Independent. Dwight coached football, baseball, drove race cars, and worked on small engines. If he wasn't able to fix it..it wasn't fixable. Throughout his 55 years, he overcame so many obstacles and tragedies. Although he lived in darkness, he always knew when to shine. Dwight will be missed by so many.
Survivors include his loving wife, Frieda Volkers Carter; mother, Shirley Bolding; children, Marie Wyman, Dwight C. Carter "Bubba", Heather Arrington, Aidan Volkers, and Dakota Carter; grandchildren, Kenneth, Dusty, Baylee, and Chase Carter, Colby and Shelby Arrington; siblings, Anthony (Heather) Puckett, Randall Puckett, and Tammy Puckett.
