CSM (Ret) Duane Eugene Finley, 77, Clarksville, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at his home. The funeral will be held at 12 noon Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 11, 1930 in Senecaville, OH, the son of Wilbert Willard Finley and Hazel Blanche Lawton Finley. Mr. Finley served in the U.S. Army for 30 years and retired as a Command Sgt. Major. He also taught Industrial Arts at Northwest High School for 10 years and was a member of the 101st Airborne Association. He is survived by his wife Alice May Haynes Finley of Clarksville, sons Duane Eugene Finley Jr of Clarksville, Donald Clyde Finley of Germany, Steven Shane Finley of Clarksville; daughters Dolly Ann Briggs of Mooresville, NC, Janette Christine Carr of Milford, PA, Evelyn Sue Jimenez of Clarksville, Darlene Eugenia Doss of Mt. Sterling, KY, Donna Marie Werner of Clarksville, Rebecca Bonnie Perkins of York, PA; brother Ronald Dean Finley of Colombus, OH; 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steven Finley, Duane Finley Jr, Frank Jimenez, Frankie Jimenez Jr., Alex Jimenez, Patrick Jimenez, Michael Lopez, and Alan Werner.
