Dorris Horn

Dorris Faye Horn, age 89, of Clarksville, TN passed away at her home, on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

She will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Bro. Paul Scott officiating.

Dorris entered this life on April 30, 1935 in Crowder, MS to the late Dow Gavin Bridges and Beatrice Rodgers Bridges. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by all of her siblings except her sister, Carolyn Pinion.

In addition to her sister, she is also survived by her loving husband, Rev. (Lt. Col., Ret) Gene Horn; daughter, Gena Barefoot, and her husband, (Col., Ret) Wayne Barefoot; grandson, Maj. (USMC) Taylor Gene Barefoot, and his wife Katie; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Layne and Hannah Lee Barefoot.
