Dorothy Wallace

Mrs. Dorothy Jean Wallace, age 70 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Buchannan officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday morning.
Jean entered this life on May 17, 1947 in Murray County, TN, daughter to the late Charles and Dorothy Shannon Baxter. Jean was a faithful member of Cumberland City Church of Christ, and retired from T.V.A where she worked as a Teamster. Jean belonged to the Local Union #327.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Singleton, and brother, Buddy Baxter.
Survivors include her loving husband, Newt Wallace; loving sons, John Singleton (Terri), Andy Wallace (Cathryn); and sister, Judy Dean. Jean also leaves behind six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Singleton, Jessie Singleton, Lucas Scism, Teddy Joe Wallace, Colton Singleton, and Charles Dean.
