Dorothy Norfleet Riggins

Dorothy N. Riggins, age 79, of Woodlawn, TN, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home with Revs. Kenneth Edmondson and Cynthia Talley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born May 24, 1932 in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Byron and Cynthia Tomlinson Norfleet. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Riggins Rakes. Mrs. Riggins was a retired artist for Jostens and a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughter Julia Dauw (Albert) of Adams, TN; brother Glenn Norfleet of Manchester, TN; grandchildren Becki Sessions, David Bonner, and Kyle Dauw, and 5 great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
