Dorothy McLendon

Dorothy Ann McLendon, age 74, of Palmyra, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at First Canaan Baptists Church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 4-7 p.m., and again from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Dorothy entered into this life on September 27, 1946, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Robert and Annie Pearl Rye Elliot. Dorothy was a member of First Canaan Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of over fifty-seven years, Cecil D. McLendon, Sr.; sons, Cecil (Tamy) McLendon, Jr., David (Kathy) McLendon; grandchild, Jesse McLendon; great-grandchildren, Robert, Rayna, Ross.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
