Dorothy Mathis

Mrs. Dorothy Ann Mathis, age 73 of Erin, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. L.C. Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Mathis family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon.
Dorothy entered this life on February 5, 1942 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Willard Herrington and Beatrice Aaron Herrington. Dorothy was a faithful member of Mt Sinai Baptist Church, and loved to travel and fish.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lynn Chambers.
Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, Lewis Mathis; son, Ricky Chambers; grandsons, Michael Anthony Chambers, and Jerry Lynn Chambers.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
