Dorothy Ann Kmecheck, 82 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Terrell Marcom officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday.
Dorothy was born on September 9, 1933, the daughter of Leslie Suiter and Lillie Byard Suiter. She was a member of Excell Baptist Church and graduated from Montgomery Central High School in 1952. She started her banking career at Northern Bank and continued on through, First American Bank, AM South Bank, and retired as a branch manager from Regions Bank.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Kmecheck; sons, Dale (Gail) Grimes and Michael Grimes; daughter, Sandy Brainard; children by marriage, Chris Kmecheck, Anita Estevanus, Susie Gruber, and Marcy Mowry; sister, Jane (Herschel) Johnson; grandchildren, John Grimes, Jenna Grimes, Evan Grimes, Hank Brainard, Jacquelyn Grimes, Arianna Grimes; great-grandson, Aaron Grimes.
Pallbearers will be John Grimes, Hank Brainard, Richard Butzin, Tommy Crowe, Keith Johnson, Steve Johnson, Johnny Johnson, and Bryce Neblett.
