Dorothy Marie Kelley, age 75, Palmyra, departed this life on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Scott Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Broome Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Dorothy entered into this life on July 13, 1938 in Montgomery County, daughter to John Oliver Broome and Lula Ellis Broome. She was a homemaker and a member of the church family at First Canaan Baptist Church.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Willie D. Kelley, and sons, John Kelley, David Kelley, and Kenneth Kelley. She is survived by her sons, Richard Thomas Kelley (Cynthia) and Anthony D. Kelley; grandchildren, Richard Kelley II, LaDonna Kelley, Chrissy Davis, Drew Kelley, Brandon Hollenbeck, Christopher Hollenbeck, and Jessica Hollenbeck; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Turnes, Jerry Perkins, Larry Spires, Drew Kelley, Chris Hollenbeck, John Pinnix, Victor Broome, and Gage Dozier.
