Dorothy "Juanita" Miller

Dorothy “Juanita” Carnal Miller, our beloved mother, grandmother, nina capena, great grandmother and grandma, has gone home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Dorothy's family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at the Ridgecrest Cemetery in Jackson, Tennessee.
Dorothy was born on January 21, 1928 in Bemis, Tennessee to the late Joseph P. Carnal and Florence Prather Carnal. Before her retirement, she enjoyed her career as a dental assistant for the US Civil Service. Also, Dorothy was the consummate family matriarch and absolutely cherished each and every member of her family.
She is survived by 3 children – Jennifer M. Tapscott and husband Tom of Clarksville, TN, Joe L. Miller and wife Donna of Moneta, VA, James P. Miller and wife Evelyn of Noblesville, IN; 4 step-children – Mary Miller of Moble, AL, Betty and husband Cliff Allen of Moble, AL, David Miller and wife Glenda of Heber Springs, AR, Elaine Sellers of Ocean Springs, MS; 8 grandchildren – Jason Williams, Alison Goad and husband Brian, Amy Miller and husband Mark Flanders, Brent Williams and wife Kelsey, Jacqueline Cormier and husband Ryan, Nicholas Miller and wife Theresa, Mariesa Stone and husband Rocky, Catarina Bell and husband Demetrius; 17 great grandchildren – Emily and Graham Goad, Ryan and Chloe Flanders, Lauren Vorwald, Gavin and Zoe Williams, Cody, Sean, Abby and Zachery Cormier, Emma and Gaby Stone, Dathan, Tramayne, Nehemiah, Zachariah Bell.; All Cherished.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
