Dorothy R. Hutchison, 90 of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Tennova HealthCare.
A celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Revs. Betty Coghill and Bryan Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12 noon till 6.p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 and 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born February 10, 1927 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late, Willie Wesley and Della Reynolds Claxton. She was retired from Jay Garment and a member of Discover Life Church of God. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hutchison; brother, Doffie Claxton; sisters, Gladys Strainger, Colene Robertson, Olean Suiter, Vergie Claxton and Verbie Shelton.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Lewis Edward (Debbie) Baggett; daughters, Lora Dean Campbell, Diana (Dennis) Campbell, Stella Frances (Teddy) Cook, Rowena (Duaine) Kirschbaum and Wanda Maynard; brother, Ewing Claxton; 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was known as mama to the many who loved her.
