Dorothy Gibbs

Dorothy J. Gibbs, 86 of Clarksville passed away on July 20, 2021.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. The Gibbs family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 and on Friday 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gibbs was born on April 12, 1935 in Clarksville, TN; daughter of the late William Wright and Rosie Stamper Wright Haley. She was a member of Clarksville First UMC and United Methodist Women. Mrs. Gibbs was known as the Pie Lady; she enjoyed camping and playing cards.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Gibbs, five brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Frank Gibbs; son, Ronnie (Jennifer) Gibbs; daughters, Sandra Russell, Sue (Ken) Duncan; grandchildren, Angela Cobb, Richard Russell, Robert Russell, Ryan Russell, Amanda Wollum and Jason Fletcher; sisters, Josephine Parker and Mary Dowdy.
Pallbearers will be Mike Dowdy, Robert Russell, Walter Wright, Jason Fletcher, Darrell Gibbs, and Ken Duncan.
