Dorothy Ann Johnson, 78, formerly of Clarksville, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 at Country View Care Center of Sunbury, Ohio.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. James Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Liverworth Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born October 20, 1933 in Southside, Tennessee, daughter of Norman G. and Josephine Black Weakley. She was formerly employed with the Joliet Army Munitions Plant. She was a member of the Eagles Club and was a Baptist.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Johnson and her brother, William Lawrence Weakley.
Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Elizabeth Brooks of Ohio and Norma Kay Self of Kentucky; children by marriage, James E. Johnson, Jr. and Tammy Tebo, both of Illinois; brother, Norman Weakley of Clarksville; 4 grandchildren, 3 grandchildren by marriage, and 1 great granddaughter.
