Doris Mabry

Doris Jean Mabry, 73, Clarksville, went to heaven to be with her daughter and other loved ones, Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Ken Andrews and Rev. Melvin Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Fort Donelson National Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born December 25, 1933 in Chilhowee, VA daughter of Charles Franklin McCormick and Louise Jeanette Snapp McCormick. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pamela Mabry; and brother, Richard McCormick. Mrs. Mabry was retired from Sears and Conroy, Marable and Holleman Real Estate. As well as delivering for Meals-On-Wheels, she was a member of the Grays Chapel of the Nazarene, Gideons Auxillary, Clarksville Housing Authority Board, Clarksville Civitan Club and Mother Daughter Bunko Group. Survivors include her husband, Warren L. Mabry, Clarksville; son, Paul Mabry, Macomb, MI; daughter, Trish (Lee) Clayton, Clarksville; brother, Robert McCormick; sister, Ann McCormick; grandchildren, Lindsey Renee Mabry, Ashley Nicole Mabry, Henry Warren Clayton, Emmalee Jeanette Clayton and Jessica Ann Mabry. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Mosbey, Johnny Piper, Lawson Mabry, Mark Holleman, Charles Bennett, Charles Pecka, Bob Burdick and Bob Hasselbring.
