Doris Lillian Stockdale, age 70, passed away November 4, 2017 at her home in Cumberland Furnace, TN. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson with Rev. Gary Akin. Burial will follow in Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until hour of service. She was born December 13, 1946 in Montgomery County, TN to the late John Morgan and Mary Elizabeth Hayes Akin and retired from Acme Boot. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aubrey Earl Stockdale; brothers, Edward, JD, Herman, Walter Lee, James (Tee), Thomas, and Dean Akin She is survived by her daughter Tina Stockdale; brothers, Norman and Wade Akin; sisters, Elizabeth Stockdale, and Patricia Dyce; along with many nieces and nephews.
