Doris Farmer

Doris Elizabeth Farmer, age 92, of Clarksville, TN passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, peacefully in her sleep, at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family.
Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Farmer was born January 1, 1931, in Dickson, TN to the late Birtie Proctor and William McKinley Mayfield. She was a retired manager from Walnut Street Laundry & Market.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Danny and Dale Farmer; daughter, Donna Wynne; brothers, Clayton, Bobby, and Billy Joe Mayfield, Jesse and JC Britt.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Dianne Underwood; son, Ricky Farmer; sister, Peggy (Donald) Hodges; grandchildren, Jeff Underwood, Preston Farmer, Derick Farmer, Morgan Proctor, and Justin Farmer, seven great-grandchildren, one great-grandson-in-law, and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Mark Mason, Milty Davenport, Preston Farmer, Gary Ussery, Kevin Neblett and Hunter Burney.
