Doris Boyd

Doris June Boyd, age 80 of Clarksville, TN passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 at her residence.
Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Cal Hampton officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Doris entered this life on April 9, 1941 in Louisville, KY to the late Charles and Edna Vittitow Oakes. She was a member of Memorial Drive Church of The Nazarene, a 1959 graduate of Clarksville High School, bookkeeper for Kiddyland Daycare, and the owner and operator of Barber and Beauty Salon.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Boyd, and brothers, Virgil and James Oakes.
Survivors include her daughters, Angela (Jody) Ballard and Deb (Dave) Johnson of Santa Cruz, CA; sisters, Yvonne Rhodes-Evans, Lillian Graham, and grandchildren, Carlene Filback and Brian Tracey of Santa Cruz, Ca.
